Professional project management is not a useless add-on to an IT project but base for the success - high quality within the time limits. We do not think that professional project management needs complicated tools ("a fool with a tool is still a fool"). Often easy rules are enough to achieve success in payroll and HR projects:
- Weekly status reports (telephone conference, meetings, always with minutes and an agenda)
- Activity plan with clear signs who has to do what till when
- Clear sequence of concept - implementation - test run - real run
- Understandable documentation and quality controls after each step.
